At Twisted Lock Alpacas, we've removed the risk from herdsire selection. We have the utmost faith in the qualities and reproductive capabilities of our herdsires. To demonstrate how serious we are about quality breeding, we've implemented our Breeding Satisfaction Guarantee. When you purchase a breeding to one of our Champion Herdsires, we guarantee you'll be happy with the results of your breeding decision. If, for any reason, you're not happy with the result of the breeding you've purchased from us, we will buy the resulting cria from you! Here are the details:
1. The price for which we purchase your cria will be equal to the price you paid for your breeding to our Champion Herdsire.
2. You will have 90 days from the date of birth to decide whether you want us to purchase your cria.
3. You may elect to sell us your cria for any reason, within the specified time period (90 days).
4. If you elect to sell us your cria, you agree that cria will remain with dam for a minimum of 6 months, or until weaning takes place, at no charge (i.e. agisting fees) to us.
5. Cria must receive the same standard of care as any other alpaca in your personal herd, and must be in good health at time of transaction.
6. Should cria die within the first week after birth, or have significant health problems present at birth, standard reproductive warranties apply, i.e. free rebreeding. Any cria purchase by us in such instances will be solely at our option.
7. This offer is currently limited to our wholly-owned, Champion herdsires. This list currently includes Patagonia's Tehuelche, Silvestre el Boliviano, and Breitling of A.L. Pacas.
