Drama Queen of PeruDrama Queen of Peru - $35,000

Drama Queen of Peru is a real looker! With her perfect conformation and beautiful lock structure, she's sure to produce some of the best crias you'll ever see. Don't let her name fool you; Drama Queen is a real sweetheart, and an excellent mother, having delivered us a very nice little girl in late March of this year. She's now been bred to our true black Futurity Champion/AOBA Nationals Reserve Champion, Silvestre el Boliviano. We can't wait to see what she'll give us next year. The combination of her Peruvian Meteor bloodline with Silvestre's Black Debut bloodline is sure to produce a cria of rich color, and a likely show-winner, too.

Genuine GoldGenuine Gold - $25,000

Genuine Gold's personality is every bit as pretty as her stunning fawn color. She has good conformation, good density, and nice crimp to her fiber. Her sire, Bolivian Black Thunder (owned by Alpacas of America), consistently produces superior progeny.

Guillermo's ChocoGenuine Gold has been bred to Guillermo's Choco for a Fall 2007 cria.

UPDATE: Genuine Gold has been SOLD. Thanks, Gari, and congratulations!

Live Wire of Peru Live Wire of Peru - $45,000

Live Wire is a stunning, white huacaya with superb fineness and consistent crimp throughout her considerable volume of fleece. In addition to having great density to her fiber, this girl is on the large side, which translates to an extra-large fleece crop every year. Besides her great bloodlines and stellar good looks, it's this girl's progeny which sends her value through the roof! In August of this year, Live Wire easily gave birth to the most stunning huacaya cria I've ever seen! There's no doubt in my mind, her cria will not only be a show winner - she'll be a show stopper! The as-yet-unnamed cria has a gorgeous head, perfect conformation, and fleece to match. Well-developed for her age, and emotionally mature, as well, I expect the cria to be ready to breed as soon as I can be convinced to pull her from our show string. Live Wire has been bred to our true black Futurity Champion, Patagonia's Tehuelche for a Summer 2008 cria.

Special Effects Special Effects - $30,000

Special Effects has lots and lots of incredibly fine, soft, suri fiber with great handle. An Arragorn daughter, she carries the genes which qualify her as champion material. Special Effects is very friendly and inquisitive, and loves visitors, who often carry treats. She has a typey head, paired with great conformation and excellent staple length. Special Effects has been bred to our true black Futurity Champion/AOBA Nationals Reserve Champion, Silvestre el Boliviano for a spring 2008 cria.

Lady Eowyn - $27,000

Lady Eowyn is a larger female, with a looser lock structure and excellent coverage. She has good conformation, and a winning personality. One of our friendliest animals, she has a very sweet and inquisitive nature, and will come right up to you to be petted and hugged. We purchased Lady Eowyn as part of our initial foundation herd of 4 females. She has been bred to our true black Futurity Champion/AOBA Nationals Reserve Champion, Silvestre el Boliviano for a spring 2008 cria.

Spitfire - $40,000

Spitfire is the second alpaca I fell in love with (the first being her 2005 cria, Wild Thing), and part of our first herd purchase. She is a beautiful animal, and is one of the friendliest alpacas you'll ever meet. She is truly huggable, and really enjoys neck rubs. Spitfire has an excellent, silky lock structure, great luster, and good coverage to go along with her perfect conformation. She is slightly petite, but in size only! She is quite dominant within her herd, and always gets her way - clearly an Alpha Female. She is a great mother with plenty of milk, and very nurturing. She produces confident crias with the same huggable personality. Her first cria, Wild Thing, has become part of our foundation herd, while her second cria, Sir Lustermaster of Twisted Lock, has begun his show career. Her recently won a blue ribbon at the Monterey Pronk Alpaca Show, and we'll be eagerly anticipating his transition to herdsire status. Spitfire has been bred to Sirius Black (the multiple color champion, true black son of Sierra Bonita's Macgyver) for a spring 2008 cria.

Puttin' on the RitzPuttin' on the Ritz - $30,000

Ritzy is probably the sweetest, most affectionate alpacas I've EVER seen. She has really nice fiber, with good lock structure and great conformation. Ritzy has a very sturdy frame, with solid bone, and will undoubtedly make an excellent mother. She's been bred to our true black Futurity Champion/AOBA Nationals Reserve Champion, Silvestre el Boliviano for a summer 2008 cria.

PPPeruvian Prudence 5083 - $15,000

Prudence is a bit of an odd duck. She's an older girl - a full Peruvian import. As an import, she's a little more guarded than most of our herd. Prudie is an incredible mother - the most protective I've ever seen. She's the only one of our alpacas who has ever intentionally and effectively spit at me. She does it practically every time I touch her crias. Lately, I've noticed that rather than spit at me, she'll go after Cujo, our Pomeranian, even though I'm the one grabbing her cria. It's hilarious to watch. Cujo holds his own, though. I've seen him nip her on the lower lip as she tries to bite him. She consistently births large healthy crias with extremely high IgG and dense fleece. Prudie puts on a good show, but she's really a pussycat, once you earn her trust. Just don't expect to spend much time hugging this one! Prudence has been bred to our true black Futurity Champion, Patagonia's Tehuelche for a Spring 2008 cria.
